Job Summary
Rice's Appliance is looking for an energetic Sales Associate to join our fast-growing business!  We are looking for people who are as committed to customer service as we are to serve our wonderful customers.  We are looking for high-energy, service-minded individuals (serving the customer is in Rice's DNA).  Candidates that are organized, love meeting and engaging with new people, and excel in communication skills will find this role very rewarding.  Past sales experience is not neccessarily required, some of our best Sales Associates have come from non-sales roles in the past.

As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of the company greating our customers in-store, over the phone, and online.  Responsible in guiding our customers through the entire purchasing process by both asking and answering questions about our product and services, to ensure that our customers select the right product for the right application.  

We consider our team "Experts" in our industry, therefore as new products are introduced our team is constantly expanding their knowledge-base with continuing education.  Rice's will provide the tools and will invest in the training period to ensure that you are comfortable engaging with our customers on their purchasing journey.  

Finally, you will be responsible for the store floor managing the displays, products, and tidiness of the store floor. Earnings potential for this position is high with the right candidate.

This is a Sales Position that pays commission with a very high earning potential (our customers WANT to buy from us).  Rice's offers training pay for up to 90 days in order that you feel comfortable with the compensation plan.  Most of our team members earn $100k to $150k a year, yes this is real, and very easy to accomplish by following the process we have in place.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Greeting customers, answering questions, engaging customers with merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Communicate with customers after the sale
  • Guiding customers to merchandise within the store
  • Organizing and maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the store displays
  • Strong product knowledge
  • Contribute to the department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
